You’ve chosen your era, now fine-tune the effect with the Degree Control Dial. Rotate the dial to precisely adjust color, contrast, and noise expression – you’ve got 10 creative variations per era.
Nostalgia Framed
Add flavor to every shot or clip utilizing the Frame Switch. There’s a frame for every era, each echoing the characteristics, media and playback devices that defined that time – think “REC” text and crisp white lines on the 90s filter.
Lights, Evo, Action!
Select your preferred era, now it’s time to switch between “Cine” and ”Still” to capture either a video or photo with ease. Shoot a series of clips – up to 15 seconds in total – and the camera will stitch them into one smooth video automatically. For ‘The Director’s Cut’ use your smartphone to download the free instax mini Evo™ app, connect your camera to the app via Bluetooth® and extend your creation to 30 seconds by adding or reordering clips.

Equipped with a 2 or 10-second Self-Timer, the instax mini Evo Cinema™ hybrid instant camera gives you plenty of time to step into the frame and let the camera do the rest (pair with a tripod* for great results). And with a two second warning, courtesy of the red lamp on the front, you’ll know when to get camera-ready.
