If you are experiencing issues with your instax™ product, please call the Fujifilm North America Contact Center at 1-800-800-3854 for further assistance. 

The film exposure counter will reset if the back of the camera is opened while film is loaded. To avoid issues, be mindful not to open the camera once film has been loaded.

After removing the INSTAX instant film cartridge from the foil wrapper you will notice a small yellow stripe on the top right side of the cartridge. If you open the film door located on the back of your instax™ product, you will see the same yellow mark on the top right corner of the film compartment, simply align these two stripes and the film cartridge should slot in place easily. Never force the INSTAX instant film into your product as this could damage the INSTAX instant film and / or product.

One INSTAX MINI instant print is about the size of a credit card – 54 x 86 mm.

For selfies, switch your instax™ instant camera to Close-Up or Selfie mode and use the selfie mirror to line up your shot.

+5°C/+41°F to +40°C/+104°F, if taking images below 5°, keep the photo in a warm place for proper development

The film exposure counter will reset if the back of the camera is opened while the INSTAX instant film is loaded. To avoid issues, be mindful not to open the camera once film has been loaded.

This is usually caused when the film door on the instax™ instant camera has been opened after INSTAX instant film has been loaded into the camera. INSTAX instant film is light sensitive, so should only be exposed to light when a picture is taken, not before.

Try reinserting the batteries with the lens in the open position which should hopefully reset the issue. If you are still experiencing issues with your instax™ product, please call the Fujifilm North America Contact Center at 1-800-800-3854 for further assistance

This depends on usage and the instax™ instant camera that you use, but all products can print around 100 photos before having to change or recharge the batteries, with the exception of the instax SQUARE SQ1™, which can print around 300 photos with fully charged batteries.

+5°C/+41°F to +40°C/+104°F. If taking images below 5°C/41°F, keep the photo in a warm place for proper development.

Press and hold the “power” button on your instax mini Link™ for approximately one second to turn it off or on.

Enable Bluetooth on your Smartphone, make sure that your instax™ printer is charged and turned on, then open the free instax mini Link™ app on your Smartphone, tap the Bluetooth symbol at the top left of your screen and select your device.

Once a photo has been taken it takes around 90 seconds to develop. During this time it is important you don’t crease, bend or shake the printed photo.  These types of actions can affect the distribution of film chemicals while the film is developing. 

This is usually caused when the film door on the camera or Smartphone printer has been opened after the INSTAX instant film has been loaded into the camera or Smartphone printer.  INSTAX instant film is light sensitive, so should only be exposed to light when a picture is taken, not before.

INSTAX instant film should be stored in a dry, cool place. Do not remove the film cartridge from the foil wrapper until it is ready to be loaded into the instax™ instant camera or Smartphone printer.

To prevent possible fogging of unexposed INSTAX instant film during X-ray inspection of luggage at airports, it is recommended that all INSTAX instant film and instax™ instant cameras loaded with INSTAX instant film be carried as carry-on baggage (not checked baggage).

For optimal results, use your INSTAX instant film prior to the expiration date listed on the box.

INSTAX instant film is available at many major retailers.

INSTAX instant film develops automatically in approximately 90 seconds, no need to shake the print or drop-off the film.
